“Screaming
Symphony – Live from the Corner Hotel – A PBS Benefit Gig”
On
Saturday 3rd of September some of
Australia’s biggest names in heavy metal come together to celebrate heavy
metal music.
Featuring
Vanishing Point (Vic), EYEFEAR
(Vic), Black Majesty (Vic) and all the way
from Perth, Western Australia for their first East Coast performance, Voyager
(W.A.), this will be a great night for all. Sitting atop the Corner Hotel’s
second stage will be Template (Vic) who will
play during the band changeovers.
The
night will conclude with two big giveaways (everyone who enters the Corner that
night will get a free raffle ticket) and, similar to the last benefit gig (all
those years ago) that featured a whole host of metal vocalists covering Iron
Maiden’s WASTED YEARS, there’ll be something special this time around too.
The
idea behind the night is to primarily raise money for PBS-FM (www.pbsfm.org.au)
but also to raise awareness of heavy metal. Thus, all bands are playing for free
– so, a big thank you to the participating bands (especially Voyager who are
coming from across the Nullabor!). Thus, all monies raised will go to help
keeping PBS on-air and promoting heavy metal. Bands will also be providing
merchandise for sale on the night.

are $20 (or $10 for PBS Subscribers) and are available NOW from the Corner Hotel

going to be a great night.

Symphony has been on-air since 1999 at 106.7 PBS-FM promoting Progressive and
Power Metal music.
